FAQ

  1. What days and times does the Warriors Team practice?
    Tuesdays: 21h – 23h and Wednesdays: 19h – 21h

  2. Do I need Prior experience in Cheerleading?
No prior experience is needed to join us! However, if you have a background in performing, dance, or cheer, you’ll help the team master skills faster. This means we can tackle even bigger and cooler stunts in the future!
  3. What are you looking for during Tryouts?
We’re seeking motivated individuals eager to learn and enhance their skills. We’re also looking for “coachability”—how well you take and apply feedback from our coaches to improve your performance.

  4. What does practice with Warriors look like?
We kick off practice with a quick huddle for attendance and an overview of the session. Then, we dive into a 15-minute warm-up and stretch. After that, we’ll focus on specific skills, parts of a routine, dance, or a full-out run-through as if we’re performing on the field.

  5. Does the Warriors team do competitions?
No, at Warriors, we excel in Side-line cheerleading. We’re the ones who ignite the crowd’s energy during sports games like football and basketball. Our job is to amplify the excitement and keep the spirit high. And when it’s halftime, we take the stage to captivate and entertain, ensuring the crowd stays engaged and pumped up.

  6. Where does the Warriors team do their Sideline?
Currently, we’re based in Maastricht. Last season, we primarily cheered for the Wildcats American Football team and MVV’s soccer team. But we’re excited to expand and bring our energy to other sports teams in the future!

  7. Is practice mandatory?
In cheerleading, we train in groups of four, so everyone’s presence is crucial. If you really can’t make it to practice, please inform your coach in advance. Your commitment helps the whole team succeed!
